STEPS TO BECOME OFF-GRID

STEP 1 BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

For a business/residency to fully operate off-grid, a detailed discussion will be made with the owner to determine exactly what services they require

STEP 2 ELECTRICAL LOAD SHEET

When we design both commercial and residential solar systems we require that the customer fill out, our load sheet, where this is not possible we will come and install a load logger for 2 weeks while the premise is in use. This will enable us to create a system that exactly meets the requirements of the customer

STEP 3 SYSTEM SELECTION

This is the phase where we determine if the customer requires to be off-grid, grid tied or grid parallel. Customer will receive a detailed description of the pro's and con's of the system types. This way we ensure that the customer receive exactly what they require.

STEP 4 Procurement

After the decision has been made and the deposits paid, procurement will start. Due to high demand, stock shortages can be a problem and lead times on certain equipment may be longer that expected. However we do stock the widely used system.

STEP 5 INSTALLATION

After all stock is required installation date will be set and commenced once customer confirms the date is acceptable

STEP 6 POST SALES SUPPORT

All systems installed by SAFRISAT will be monitored optionally by the national control room, and should something arise the customer will be contacted, to set up a service call by the technician.
